Why We Run
This July marked the fourth anniversary of the death of Gabe Milanese Jr., who was a huge part of our lives here at Milanese Remodeling. When Gabe was first diagnosed with the brain tumor that ended his life, some of his first thoughts were of how he could give back to others. We will always remember Gabe and admire his selflessness. Gearing Up for Our Sixth Year
For the sixth year running, the team at Milanese Remodeling paraticipated in the Philadelphia Race for Hope, an annual timed 5K (3.1 mile) walk or run that raises awareness and funds for brain tumor research.
All funds raised during this event were donated to the National Brain Tumor Society in order to advance research and public policy to make treatments more widely available and help to find a cure.
This cause is near and dear to our hearts, as we lost our own Gabe Milanese Jr. to a brain tumor. Check out our post about last year’s Race for Hope.
