This homeowner made two wish lists. He made one list for his outdoor living projects and another list for his exterior remodeling jobs. After he contacted Milanese Remodeling he decided to kill two birds with one stone and do it all at once.
The exterior remodeling project included the removal of the existing wood siding and the professional installation of Dupont Tyvek HomeWrap vapor barrier before new siding with “Fullback” insulation. The existing windows received new energy efficient Replacement Windows with Azek maintenance free trim moldings installed around the new windows. New beaded soffit, custom made fascia covers and a complete raincarrying system including seamless, gutter, downspouts and leaf protection completed the exterior remodeling project.
The outdoor living portion of this project included a new elevated deck with maintenance free deckboards and railings, Patio Doors to completely enclose the covered proch to create a Sun Room and a traditional frame covered Porch over the new maintenance free deck railing and steps.
As a finishing touch and to protect guests to the home, Milanese Remodeling designed and installed a new covered front Porch featuring a peaked gable design and decorative, load bearing porch post columns.
This project was a combination of both an Outdoor Living project and an Exterior Remodeling project. The homeowner finished both of his wish lists for exterior remodeling and outdoor living. He is pleased with the finished results and glad he did it all at once.
